Ok so I am very new to affiliate marketing and I'm only starting to understand it but google is making me very frustrated. For example, there's this one campaign I had that would get plenty of clicks (no conversions) but all my keywords do not list any of them. All of them are apparently coming from 2 edited or deleted ads as they say. What the hell? If the ad is deleted why am I still paying for it to be clicked? Another knack I have with google is how they ridiculously inflate keyword costs sometimes. If I submit an ad that is somewhat irrelevant to some keywords, they are priced at like $5.00 or more a click, and they stay like that even if I optimize the ad as much as I can. It seems that the only way out of this is to scrap it and write the ad before I pick keywords, and the same ones that cost 5 bucks now cost 75 cents.
Last complaint with google, their keyword tool is ATROCIOUS. It does generate keyword suggestions, but the data it lists is horribly inaccurate, especially cost per click and advertising competition. I'd say 90% of the keywords they say cost $.05 a bid are more than a dollar, even when my ad says almost nothing but that keyword. And I see keywords that apparently have no competition but cost 80 cents for some reason. I know that the keyword tool is not really meant to collect this information but I see no other way that google provides for you to do so. Oh and by the way, none of my ads show when I search for my keywords, and yet they somehow generate clicks. Confusing

Anyways unless there's something I'm not understanding, google really sucks. But I'm not giving up on this and am very eager to make money, so I ask the experts here what is the simplest to generate money on the internet without a website or much of a budget? It seems to be affiliate marketing, but now I'm not so sure. As long as we are on the subject though, a few questions below:

1)I hear all over this forum that clickbank sucks for affiliates(except for a few good products), which seems to be true because I have a $14 or so google adwords bill promoting it's products and have not made a single sale yet. If this is the case, what are those clickbank products that actually convert or what is the best affiliate network to join?

2)I am also kind of fed up with google, so I am also in search of better PPC search engines. What would those be?

3)I paid for a pro membership to cbproads.com and gotten clicks with targeted ad campaigns for the clickbank storefront they provide such as registry cleaners, but no sales. Is it my bad keyword choice or are these clickbank malls not known for converting?

4)I've seen these dropship websites that let you sell products and such, are they worth it?

That should about do it for now, thanks.
