I'm just starting out here, so correct me if I'm wrong, but when I first started my blog I joined up w/ blogmad.net and blogexplosion.com to try to bring in some traffic. Since then I've realized a few things:
1.) The traffic these services bring in is worthless. People who view your blog as a result of these sites don't read your content, let alone click on your ads. They're just building up credits so others can view their sites. You can even let the timer run down in the background while you surf other pages. Worthless.
2.) It's against the TOS of Google, Yahoo and most other major ad services to bring in "solicited" traffic of this kind.
I've still got memberships with them right now, but as soon as my credits hit zero I'm going to remove the code from my blog.
