Advice: Best Way To Monetize My Site

I have a health-related website and I get around 600-800 visitors per day (http://www.antioxidantsdetective.com). I do have a newsletter sign up and lately I've been wondering what the best way to monetize my site is.

I've done google adsense (made between $110-150/mo), promoted some related affiliate products through clickbank (made 2-3 sales per month) and I've heard that doing CPA is good for health related sites.

I've been thinking about the best ways to maximize the traffic and monetization plan but it's not making the kind of revenue I feel it could make.

Any constructive recommendations or suggestions are appreciated.

Agreed. For this site, I'm not using Wordpress but rather using SBI. I think the banner header should be updated.

What other improved design do you think should be added?
 
What kind of visitors are they? I've seen people say they get that many visitors then look at referres and see they are all pings or bot visits. Definitely need to ramp up the quality of your site, but you are kind of on the right track if you want to go traditional-cheesy lander style.

Start by telling what your referrer traffic is, i.e. kwds/websitese etc only thru that will you be able to see which audience to optimize for.
 
Shawnhag, how do I find where the referrer traffic is? I have analytical set up so will that tell me?

Also, where in south Florida do you live? I ask bc I lived there for years
 
How many records do you currently have? What domains mainly? Use a list manager to mail to them as well as update your newsletter daily. In your newsletter, what are you pushing them? Is it informational based or are you promoting products? I would add a few CPC offers to my newsletter if i were you.
 
1) Setup an AR with icontact, getresponse, etc
2) deliver 90% value & 10% upsells in your mailings, dont overdo it
3) ???
4) get rich
