Advertising on places like yahoo mail

Does anyone know how the advertising in yahoo mail works? Do they use a network or is it direct media buy?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
 


As Ranjuthan had correctly stated, by allowing traffic from the content network, your AD will appear in the webmail. Though, you cannot specifically target your AD to only appear for webmail.

If your looking to specifically target all webmail bid on common terms found in emails.

Problem is that your AD will also appear on content sites that simply use one of those words on their site constantly, so you're not really only targetting webmail traffic.
 
You could do Media Buying directly with them.
I'm sure they do have them in channels/categories and you could target the demographic as well.
Contact their sell rep for the info.
 
i use yahoo mail, and they WHORE the mail out to media buys..acai, penis x lg,
et al. Yahoo mail is trash.....but its free.
I also get alot of home business opps, education offers etc etc.
