Has anyone tried any offline advertising in little newspapers / magazines? For example, in my area there are these free little newspapers that you can pick up at almost any grocery store. It's super inexpensive to advertise in it.

There are a ton of advertisers in there, but I don't know that I've ever actually picked one up to take a look at it. I think it is primarily related to auto sales so i'm not sure the audience would be right. I was just curious what other peoples experience might be with these types of things. Do you guys have them in your area?

I know people who collect leads using a call center but I think it's a stretch to think someone will go online thru the pennysaver. Now if you were smart try college papers. Them kids should be wired up good!

Get a mobile friendly lander created to capture emails...

People will read that shit but rarely will they be in front of a PC. They will however give you their email via cell browser in exchange for something/*anything*...

I think I can post flyers all over my campus but I never tried that for some reason. Thanks for the idea smw.

they must work. issue after issue you see the same ads.

in you get a memorable domain. someone will go. you can get ads for like 35 a week. give it a try.

You must always use the proper media for your promotion, either its a magazine or a newspaper. With the right audience, its make sense if the newspaper have an expensive ads price, but the conversion have to be good

WTF I give up..
