I swear I've read in the adsense TOS that you cannot use adsense and another advertiser on a site - is that correct?

i wanted to use monster.com affiliate network + adsense, but swore that the TOS said that wasn't OK. Looking through TOS now, but can't find that.

That is against adsesne tos, right?

You CAN use other advertisers, you just can't use an ad that mimicks the adsense look on the same page. You are not allowed to confuse people as to what they are using.
 
It also depends on the niche that you are working in. There are certain fields that Google has very strict guidelines, and they will not allow any joint ad campaigns.
