Threw a quick site together. A bunch of articles in Spanish and a few Adsense blocks. Voila, 200 visitors a day and... and AdSense income of ~ $2/day.

Come on, I have AdSense sites in English that earns 10 x as much from fewer visitors.

Is the conclusion that AdSense stinks for Spanish sites - or have any of you had any luck creating sites in Spanish?

My visitors are from Spain (25%), Mexico (25%), US (7%), various Latin American countries (the rest). This is probably part of the problem, but I guess I'll have a similar visitor profile no matter what kind of site I create in Spanish :(

Spanish sites with adsense sucks! Lack of advertisers for latin america. You get between 1 cent - 3 cents per click on average.

If you're a newb, you read this thread and you think "Oh, AdSense for Spanish sites sucks".

If you're a hustler, you read it and you think "Hey, that's interesting. I can get penny clicks on AdWords from Spain".

Adapt and evolve.

And if you're smart, you realize you can't draw any conclusions whatsoever from the fact that some random guy who has a spanish website has a $10 adsense ecpm.

make no mistake theres money to be made in any country. just cause they dont speak english doesnt mean you aint gonna make cash. try a FB for a random non fatigued country like western europe and NA and you see how low the cpc is.

I know people making $2,000 days just from AS with traffic from Brazil & Mexico. I wont out the niche.... but its fairly easy.

ha I was hoping someone would post that.

Maybe the guy who wrote the articles wasn't very good at speaking spanish, and the articles don't make sense?

Or maybe he's too good at speaking spanish and they keep reading instead of clicking.

Try some RON-style spanish-language affiliate offers, but keep in mind credit cards aren't as widely used in latin america and the mail service is less reliable.
