Adding a Text Box Widget into a WordPress Navigation Menu

Does anybody know how I can do this? In WordPress I am only getting the option to add pages or categories into my navigation menu but I would like to include a text box widget. My ultimate goal is to ad my AdSense code into the text box widget and have it show horizontally along my navigation bar. Thanks in advance!

are you trying to use a link unit at the top of the page?
