I just booked at the Mosser Hotel. After careful research I was able to ball on a budget. Get a deluxe so you don't have to share a bathroom like a dorm. Orbitz hooked up 2 nights and my flight for less than $400. This hotel is right next to the conference center.

One more for the budget hotel here--we're stuck at King George a couple blocks away 'cause the only rooms avail were way too baller for me.

Back when I had a *real* job I was working for a startup in SF, and whenever I came down they put me up in the Mosser. They were too cheap for the deluxe (room with its own bathroom), so I got stuck in a tiny room that had to use the fuckin nasty-ass shared bathroom. There was, however, a sink in the room which I'm pretty sure was intended to be unofficially used as a urinal, a use I took advantage of for numerous 3am pisses.
