Ad network trying to collect money from me - should I pay?

I was running with an ad network (media buy) and they sent me really shitty results (basically blew like $5000 to make me like $500). They also went over the pre-pay budget by a lot and they are trying to get me to pay for that shitty ass traffic. I dont plan to ever work with them again.
Lets say I don't feel like paying them..
Realistically, what kind of legal action can they take? Can they actually extract money from me if they are located in south america?

did you negotiate in the IO that it will be only ATF inventory?

Why didn't you exit when you saw that the results are terrible?
