I am experiencing it myself, Yahoo ranked website by counting how many backlinks each URL had (bcoz i blast my link with so many backlinks and multiplatform and my website ranked #2 after a few weeks). But, Google ranked website by choosing high pr and high quality backlinks.

At least it's what i am experiencing now.
