1. disabling JavaScript - if you are unfortunate, open up another browser session,disable Javascript, close the tab, and you're done. You can also use plugins like NoScript.
2. enabling a site blocker - use something like BlockSite plugin and the makemoniesonline URL is not an active link.
3. using link preview - be cautious and preview links before you commit the click. Be wary of tinyurl's, and anchored text. There are plenty of image preview plugins.
4. if you're using Internet Explorer, i recommend this plugin.
