I'm looking at B2B's (a business magazine) list of top ad spenders for 2005. Interestingly Vonage spent more than twice as much money online as Microsoft. Coming in second was Monster Worldwide, the company that owns monster.com.

Right now online ad projections are at about $29 billion for 2009. I am thinking very hard about how I can be positioned to get some of that money ;)

Here are the top 17 online spenders for 2005:

1. Vonage
2. Monster
3. HP
4. Careerbuilder
5. Microsoft
6. Expedia
7. IAC/InterActive Corp (they own some hot properties, ask.com, match.com, lendingtree, ticketmaster, to name a few)
8. Time Warner
9. Verizon
10. Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (don't know where the fuck that money's going, no sites I read)
11. Capital One
12. Ink2All.com (someones banking on selling print cartriges)
13. Newegg.com
14. Travel Port (orbitz)
15. Dynamic Logic Systems
16. Dell
17. Visa
