I got a ticket the other day in my own school's school zone.

Fortunately I wasn't caught speeding or texting (I do have a decent IQ after all) - they got me on an expired inspection and registration while I waited on someone crossing the street (slowly). Just hadn't gotten around to taking care of the tags, unfortunately. Both are fixed days later, but the cops in that particular city are assholes about quotas and such so I'm out a few hundred to help them pay for their shiny new headquarters.

Most annoying.

But since I'm not about to dip into savings to pay the damn ticket, I'm offering a one-time, very short sale on articles.

I'm selling 20 500-wd articles on just about anything you want for $25 each.

That's HALF of my normal rate.

This not only gives me funds to pay this fucking ticket, but gives you a chance to sample my work without ponying up my normal $50 rate.

This sale lasts only as long as it takes for people to buy out the 20 articles I'm selling at the discount.

This deal is open to anyone for any topic not illegal, profane or unethical.

Well, after a not-so-great night's sleep it looks like I might have interest in all twenty of the articles. I've definitely sold one and the other 19 are pending. If the gentleman in question comes through, the sale will be over. If not, I'll post here and let you know how many are still available.

Looks like I have 19 articles still available at 50% off my normal rates. $25 each. (Misunderstanding of price per article caused the original confusion)

That's what I thought too. She must be an English/lit instructor with the idea that her content somehow is more profitable than an educated Phillipino's $3/hour would be.

Hint to writers: Your education means shit. Jack shit. The concept of targeted content to a site or offer is what matters, and this is not worth $25 for a paltry 500 words.
 
My rates are higher than you might be familiar with because I work in a different tier or writers. $0.08 - 0.10 a word is the minimum rate a professional freelance writer would charge for articles and website content. This is not based on my education per se, but rather the ability, knowledge, professionalism and experience inherit in the services I offer.

I don't charge $50 an article (or $25 in this case) because I have advanced degrees. My rates are at the low end of my writing peer group - and that includes many writers from different countries. There are simply a limited number of my peers in most webmaster forums, so you might not be familiar with the full range of writers and the types of services they offer. There are far more writers at the mid (or low) range simply because there is a greater demand for them. My rates and services appeal to a more limited clientele, and I'm certainly aware of that.

If you're uncomfortable with this price level, I can appreciate and respect that. There are just as many kinds of writing as there are websites and purposes. You don't need a $50 article to spin and distribute. You might need a $50 article to give your website true authority in its niche or to use for publication purposes. If I were looking for site filler and fluff or something to throw out for distribution at ezinearticles, I certainly wouldn't pay $50 either. But I don't write filler or fluff. I offer a level of service consistent with my rates. And that has more to do with my business degree than my education one.

Good enough for me. I'll take one of the $25 articles as a pilot. PM me your paypal info and I'll send you a list of topics I need authority articles written from, you can cherry pick which one you'd most like to do.
 
I can't speak for IA's work from personal experience, but I have heard from reliable sources, one of them a mod, that she does quality stuff.

No kidding, right? They made it two tickets - one for registration and one for the inspection. My mother-in-law told me they don't even do registrations any more in her are of Florida. Figures I get pulled over in the "I'm a prick" capital of the world. Even better - I work one block from the station in my alternative high school.
