Dale Begg-Smith, Moguls Skier, Is an Internet Mogul, Too - WSJ.com
CALGARY—Olympic gold medalist Dale Begg-Smith is the top-ranked moguls skier in the world. Yet after he finished first this month at a World Cup race here, reporters swarming around him didn't ask about his kicker, his twister or his daffy, as moguls tricks are known. They asked about his high-tech business.
"Guys, sorry," Steve Devosich, Mr. Begg-Smith's coach, told them. "But Dale's not supposed to answer questions about business."
First Jesse Willms, now this dude... folks won't let niggas eat :party-smiley-004:

As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with hating on people that do illegal shit. People like him ultimately make it harder for legit marketers like myself to profit, so fuck him.

No regulatory agency is known to have charged him or his companies with wrongdoing, and marketing experts note that attacking advertising predates the invention of billboards, and that many modern-day critics decry all Internet ads as spam.

You == Modern-day critic intelligence.

Whatever moron, you obviously have no idea what he did. I could do a lot of illegal shit and make sure I was never able to be charged - but it would still be illegal and fuck a lot of people.

Would of been easier if you just said "I didn't read the article and I'm just trying to peddle more shit on an already steaming pile so I don't look like such an ignoramus".

Would be easier to have a meaningful conversation with you if you actually had a clue, instead of believing what you read in some article. So do you believe everything you read in articles?

People hate on people who make money. The more you play the game the more you figure out no one else is playing that game by the rules.

What did he do?

Finally, you resort to attacking my skepticism for not believing your conspiracy theories.

I'm sorry the universe wasn't as kind to you as it was to most of us, but at least if you'd shut the fuck up we wouldn't have to know how dumb you are.

I remember this during the last winter Olympics. He won a gold I think and then at the press conference everyone was asking about his business and while he was doing his run the commentators were talking about how he owned a lambo and had an internet biz.

I think he had an ad network that focused on popups. Maybe it was with spyware/adware, but idk. Looks like he made an ad network and then sold it or something. Seems like people just want to hate because they don't like popups.

gtfo

props to him for hustlin hard and doing shit right

There's a difference between hustling and criminal activity you douche. Once you move out of your mom's basement and grow up you'll hopefully get a clue.

You are the douche for making the claims and then refusing to answer when asked multiple times what the fuck the guy did to make you so mad.

I don't know anything about the guy and I am too busy with my own fucking business to research his history. If you want to make claims about people, back it up with something. Don't just say " he did something illegal" over and over.

Most people do something illegal before breakfast. If not, you're probably doing something wrong.

Explain to us what was criminal. Making adware applications is illegal?
