BB's?? I'd hardly call a .45 a BB.

I agree though. There is also room in the grip for 2 more rounds in a quick-load tab.

After firing the barrel flips up, automatically ejecting the spent cases and making it ready to load the next two rounds.

A nice carry alternative when a larger pistol may not be practical. I'd rather have a 9-10 round compact carry but I'd rather have that than nothing at all.

Kel-Tec & Ruger make amazingly compact semi-autos in 380. There are also some extremely compact revolvers out there too.

I would NEVER EVER trust my life to that pistol. Why? Because most shootings take more than one bullet to discourage an attacker. Once you've fired your two , you're done. I don't care what they say, but reloading that thing while under extreme stress will be nearly impossible.

As for me , I'm happy with my 15rds of 45 from my FNP and 16rds of 9mm from my Glock.

I agree. It's interesting nonetheless. The Glock 27 Subcompact is the peferct carry IMHO. Small, light but still packs stopping power.

Just sold my Ruger LCP .380. Fucking HATED IT.

Yes, it was small. Actually smaller than my wallet, so it fit in my pocket just fine.

Cons:
1. Ever shoot a "mouse gun"? They suck. Even the little 380 (which is tiny compared to my preferred round - 45) has some wicked snap in a gun that small. 6 - 12 rounds (1 or 2 clips) and my hand was buzzing.
2. Double action only, and an insanely long trigger. If I were a Glock guy, the trigger wouldn't matter (you Glock guys deal with some shitty triggers), but I'm a 1911 guy, and thus spoiled by the 1911 trigger.
3. Does not lock open when empty. WTF? I read that in the manual and though they were kidding. Nope. So, it's bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, click, FUCK.
4. Sights... what sights? They are about 2 mm high stubs. You REALLY have to want to use the to see them.
5. Did I mention tiny? You have better control one-handed, than two.

I'll stick with my Dan Wesson Guardian for carry, thank you very much.

Although, I will admit to wanting to shoot the little Beretta Nano.

/edit/ just watched that video... LOL!! He said "tactical reload" referring to pulling the rounds out of the handle. Like someone else mentioned, during a stress situation, you'll be lucky if you get the extra rounds out of the butt in the first place, let alone "do a tactical reload".

I've never figured out the allure of carrying a .45 as a CC. You're definitely limiting round capacity when you could go with a sub compact 9mm or even .38. I've been thinking of getting something small, and I have a 9mm now, so I'll probably just keep it consistent and get another 9mm, just not sure what make yet.

pocket pistol; was first invented by the french. Good guns but you better not miss, lol. My conceal carry is a 40 cal subcompact XD

Did you manage to get a permit in CA?

I just got a glock 23 and really really like it.

45 has some really unique offerings that other calibers just don't offer.

You also need to realize that the LCP/Keltec-9 is the most popular CCW piece on the market right at this moment.

I like the fact that no one has cared about how this is a spam thread. Guess it just goes to show one man's spam is another man's.... fuck it. I'm not coming up with an analogy.

This is my preferred concealed handgun. Now available in .32 and .380. It's double-action only and it only has a magazine safety. When the magazine is ejected, the gun won't shoot. There's a stupid CA version with another safety.

It's not about "allure", it's more about what you're comfortable with. I'm far more accurate, and comfortable with the 1911 platform, than any of the plastic guns out there. I've been shooting 1911's now for close to 20 years.

Also, my 1911 holds more than that LCP did. 8rd magazine, vs. 6rd mags.

You could also get into the whole ballistics debate. 9mm vs. .45, but I gave up on those arguments long ago. As for clip capacity... I'm comfortable with only having 24 rounds of 230gr Federal Hydra Shock on me at any given time. Not sure that 30 (2 double stacked 9mm mags) or even 45 rounds of 115 grain 9mm would make me more comfortable.

IMO, it boils down to what you're comfortable with, and train with. I train with a .45. I'm comfortable with the 1911. Probably won't change from it.

I'm aware of this. Doesn't mean I have to like either one. I have no experience with the Keltec, so can't comment on that one. The LCP... I no likey.

This is mine, just a little Colt .25 Semi Auto with Colt mag.

Single Action with empty open lock and shoots very well for such a small gun.

Going to be getting a 1911 soon though.

Not actual picture, but close enough:

You know, I completely misread this the first time. Saw the "never figured out the allure of carrying a .45" and stopped right there.

Apologies for the previous rant.

How in the fuck is this a spam thread? Unless I work for Heizer, which I don't. Maybe I'm missing something. Just because I posted links? When posting about a new product I figured some might want to know more about it.

I just happened across this and thought it was interesting. I couldn't tell you a lick more about the company.

I was just at a local shop today checking out the XDM line. Asked the guy what was comparable to the Glocks in terms of parts simplicity and reliability. He mentioned the XDM line and Springfield Armory lines.

I wanted to look at an XDM .40 subcompact but they didn't have one. Held the 9mm compact and it felt good. I'd like to see their .40 subcompact.

Easy, muscles. You have a single digit post count, no avatar, and you're posting threads with links...its easy to see how it can look like spam at first glance.

Wow now. A simple I'm not a bot would've sufficed. You have less than 10 posts. You post had broken links. That spells bot to me.

Carry on.
