Anyone have experience using PR release/syndication for actually getting press, not link diversity?


Is PRweb worth it? I've only ever used bst type things for bulking out a link profile.


Your thoughts are appreciated.
 


Avoid PRNewswire, super arrogant. They basically tried to rip me off for my prepayment and I had to sue them to get it back (4+ years later)
 
I'm wondering about the BSTs that are out there for < $100

How do the mainstream services (PRWeb, PressReleaseMonkey) compare to these?

The BSTs use the usual claim - that they have mass ordering advantage, thus the low price.

From my limited experience, "mass ordering advantage" = reselling from Fiverr-esque providers.

Interested in this as well. I've done the BSTs a few time with some success, but have always wondered how they compare to the more expensive ones
 
Using PR press release services are great. I know of one agency called 9FigureMedia they have connections with Forbes, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance and so on.. Google them out

If you're looking for real press coverage, it’s all about the story and targeting the right outlets. PRWeb can be worth it if you craft a compelling angle and have the budget, but it’s not a guaranteed way to get actual press pickup—it’s more about visibility. If you’re used to BST services for link diversity, PRWeb might feel expensive unless you’re aiming for broader brand awareness.
