I did not realize this forum is dead and is currently being feasted on by parasites until I started reading all the spam and lame answers like the one you just provided. Oh well. I started looking at a new SEO forum called Society of Tactics. It may not make it, but it is real so far. (Notice, no link, but you can query to your hearts content.)
I think a lot of it has to do with the way they build and deploy their sites. Probably using some sort of template system or content management platform that adds a ton of extra markup. It's definitely not the most efficient or clean code, but I guess it works for their needs.
