Some of these olympic games are ridiculous..

ok. It might require some skill. I'm not arguing that. But you can't honestly say that it's an athletic event by any stretch of the imagination.
Hardly gold metal material.

Curling is probably one of my favorite events of the Olympics, not sure why you guys are hating on it. Ever watched an end?

It's way more interesting and exiting then any other event. The strategy and skill involved is awesome.

Everyone's totally in love with Torah back here in Australia. Some fun facts for you - she had concussion twice in the week before the Olympics. Her doctor had to put balloons up her nose and inflate them to set the inner bones back in place so she could breath - yep, thats as painful as it sounds. She also dislocated her shoulder around the same time and it kept popping out while slept, waking her up yelling in pain.
Her parents made a surprise visit to Vancouver - first time she saw them and found out was minutes after she won gold - originally she was telling them to save their money so they could travel to her wedding thats coming up. Her family, her included, are Mormons.

Anyway, that sport is fucking hardcore, few other sports have as high an injury rate.. the aerials and some of the downhillers/crossers being close exceptions.
