NEW Facebook Ads

Anyone having issues uploading images for an ad? I have tried on several different computers now and still no luck, they just times out.

My guess is either a big media buy in paying out the ass for CPM, or there just weren't a lot of people on Facebook after their super bowl parties :2drinkspit:

I have been wondering how long Facebook will be able to sustain traffic at a price that is worth using the site. Its already becoming horse shit for certain demographics in CPM... And I don't remember the last time I ran a CPC campaign. So how much longer will the cheap traffic hold out...

They recently redesigned the front page (again), and the civilians are moaning and griping. When loading the homepage yesterday there were no posts available at various times, so the changeover may be why advertisers are having problems with impressions.

I am seeing 0 problems with impressions and NEVER have (with a decent enough CTR running CPM). the last 4-5 days have been extremely stable and Superbowl Sunday killed it..

this thread is getting ridiculous with all you conspiracy theorists and straight-up retards making false assumptions when you don't actually have experience or enough information to back it.. GTFO!

Interesting, my ads were doing awesome on sunday! CTR jumped from .13X-.16X to .23X percent. Monday came along and most of the day was slow but got back to normal at the end of the day.

oh ya and were is my conspiracy theory? And I don't know how factual information is a false assumption? Do I need the hourly graphs to spell it out for you?

The fact that Facebook was redesigned isn't an assumption.

but the assumption that it effects impression counts isn't a fact

All other factors remaining the same, logical thinking would lead one to believe that the only change (new layout) caused the lack of impressions.

I really don't see how that is lack of information to backup an assumption, especially when the demographic ads are all running as were before, CTR on ads was stable, and bids were well above suggested range.

.. and like I said (if you had read my post at all) was that there were no impression problems from myself or other people (who've ran consistently through the weekend and last week)

i can confirm that i had ads doing pretty nice volume that got next to no volume yesterday. today is another story...

I read your post and believed your assumption that complaining about impression problems = conspiracy or lack of knowledge is false because I experienced a MASSIVE decrease in traffic.

It's asking me for a credit card now when I create an ad (at the place order screen for the ad). What the fuck? I've been with this card on this account for years...

Happens to me as well. Probably something is wrong with their system. The CC keeps getting on and off from the funding sources.

I'm getting the CC issue too. They need to fix it asap. I cannot create any new ads because of it.
