...on the grounds of reasonable doubt...
While Grunin did not file a response with the Court in time, Grunin's conduct was excusable because he believed that he engaged a licensed representative before this Court and followed requisite legal procedure.
Grunin had no intent to gain an advantage over the opposing party or to delay legal proceedings.
As such, Grunin's delay in response was due to excusable neglect.
All of Facebook's claims rely on the notion that Grunin, the individual they have sued, has wronged them in some way; however Facebook has failed to prove, or even allege, that Grunin is in fact the "Martin Grunin" with a Facebook account they seek.
Except in civil matters the legal burden of proof required is only generally preponderance of evidence. Which means the evidence only has to show that allegations are likely to be true. Not provable beyond reasonable doubt. That is only for criminal charges. And even then that is only for those who don't plea bargain.
Indictments are handed out with only the burden of preponderance of evidence. At that point, for 97% of people a plea bargain is the only real choice. So yeah, the criminal 'justice' system you seem to believe in... for 3% of the population that get indicted. Note: This is not to defend martin, but more aimed at those who believe in the rhetoric of 'Innocent until proven guilty is a cornerstone of this Great Nation's legal system'... that shit is as diluted as Robert Costello, but not so evident. And no, I'm not an anarchist. I see no solutions to anything.

Damn.
Did I call it or did I call it?

"Three claims of fraud against Grunin" omfg.
They have the IP addresses on the ad buys; the email addy subpoenas, the fax transmittals, etc. He used his Brooklyn address when he signed for a mail drop. This kid is def looking at jail time when the indictment rolls down. The wire transfers as well.
Believable except when you consider that Grunin signed the bologna filled papers himself. Each and every document contains his signature and it's notarized. That means that legal education or not he had to have known that BRC was not a licensed attorney and the positions he took were out of this world.
