Hey fam,

Been a while since I've posted.

This forum seems to LOVE debating BTC, I've purposely stayed out of them as not to sway my opinion/decisions with my trades (I got in early, have done really well with crypto, not just BTC but alts as well).

Just wanted to drop in and let those that DO trade/make moves with btc know that I haz a bot that I've released and am making it free (was going to sell it but got way too busy and a bit chicken re the liabilities of releasing financial software).

Might sell the whole project someday or might make it open source - either way for now she's free and she works well (there's two bots - MACD based and price level based, we're considering letting people build their own bots to put into this as a mini-platform vs just a bot).

Take her for a spin - the charting combo's we put in are amazing.

Grab it - it's free > CryptoBoss - FREE BTC TRADING SOFTWARE For MTgox & BTC-e

Feedback appreciated from anyone that has used similar software.

Cheers.

Just got a few PM's quickly too - will repost here to proactively answer these for others/share.

I just read your sales page and your post. Props on releasing that program for free, I don't know what most of the interface means yet but I'll learn lol. I had a couple of question I want to ask you as a dude that has banked off trading cryptocurrencies.

Can this feasibly become a full time income with a trading budget of 8k per month? Would you say that it has a lower barrier to entry than internet marketing? It'd be cool to make large amounts of money for less work doing something that isn't scammy marketing. What levels of income can a person expect to make when they become a competent trader and do you recommend that I dive into currency trading as opposed to internet marketing as a "trade" that I build capital with?

What resources do you recommend I learn from to learn trading? Do you still trade and would you coach me if I paid you? How high do you think bitcoin will go when it starts going up really high? I know that's a lot to ask lol, just I don't have many opportunities to ask a guy that's experienced with this stuff. I'm 21 yrs old and I work a manual labor job that pays very well but it's extremely demanding. I can get out once I use the money to build some kind of trade or business. I'd appreciate any advice you'd be willing to lend to me

wow so many questions :)

Can it become a full time job? Yes, but you don't want it to - or I don't - everyone is different I have an addictive personality so I do it in batches/phases otherwise it takes over my life for undetermined amounts of time.

It's way more stressful than IM once you're into big money and frequent trades. Sometimes it feels a bit scammy too but you must take all emo's out of trading especially when you pull on crashes and buy in again on the lows/watch trollboxes cry and divorces get sparked in real time lol.

Getting in big right now is crazy risky imo. Levels of income are as random as can be all depending on what the market does and what you do. Might be best off just investing and forgettinga bout it for x time, or ONLY trade infrequently during the big dips/spikes.

I don't consider myself a pro nor would I coach/teach anyone there's really no science to it and the only reason I haven't been fully wiped out was timing more than confidentmoves. I fumbled my way here and fucked up a lot but started with a lot of coins and they just kept going up so that saved my ass. If I still had as many coins as I started with - I MIGHT just say fuck trading and just sit on them. The experience is good and as you can see it got my mind going on how to build a shovel or two for the market but it's all happening so fast I wish I just dumped the money from this bot into btc instead now :).

8K a month is nothing to scoff at - I'd grab whatever you can and probably just sit on it, forget about it, maybe trade 10% of your investment only at first just to get familiar with the process and get spanked a few times to learn from it.

Don't go all in - don't go all in - don't go all in :)

Learn from bitcointalk.org, learn from the troll/chatbox on btc-e.com, learn from your own mistakes, play with a pen/paper with fake trades to pretend what would happen with your bigger money if you executed.

Thanks Luke, wouldn't be a real btc thread without you.

Pattern better than bitcoin - you mean compared to the altcoins? or..?

If that's what you mean, no. Only other pattern/coin that made me good gains was LiteCoin (edit: actually a few of the others too a while back but it was random and only on their launch pumps)- it still dances a lot too (litecoin), just doubled then scaled back and is set to potentially double again in the near. The other alts = some good profit if you can grab the first few batches BEFORE they hit the exchanges, once they are listed they usually pump and dump and become bagholder havens. btc-e is a good example of that - lot's of altcoins and the odd time one or a few of them spike but nothing like btc or ltc just based off volume alone, and usually just a few people controlling those alt P&D's as it doesn't take much there so lot's of the charting/history is manipped.

I think he means you'll probably make more money by just holding bitcoins instead of trading them

I meant have you ever stumbled upon any setting or strategy with the bot that gave positive results more often than the trend of bitcoin is heading upwards?

Buying and holding is a great long-term play, but with short term plays that bots make, I wonder if you have ever seen anyone use this bot to beat the short-term of just holding bitcoin?

Ah - got it - it's still too new to have anything sound/history re strategies we just spent last week going over all the testing one last time to ensure proper trigger commands/amounts/etc. so I look forward to seeing people maximize how they use it. So far it looks like the first 100+ have been downloaded so I expect feedback within a few days/weeks and will probably be making a few screencap vids using it.

I've also already been approached on btc-e re "what's the winning settings I'll pay you for them" lol. It's currently semi-automated not a full set-forget-forever solution (at least for the first set of bots - you still have to work with the bot+the market to maximize its use. I'm sure we'll get a lot of feedback and suggestions on future trigger commands/ways for the new bots to work etc.).

I myself don't really know its full potential or if this makes sense to turn into a platform for tons of bots/other programmers openly to plug their own bots into or keep as is adding a few internally or what... another reason why I just put it out there vs putting in security, getting a processor/pricepoint/officially doing customer support etc. want to see what the market thinks of it, perhaps get approached by someone that would be a good fit to see way more in this than my experimental thinking does and my time allows.. (ie turn this into the MT4 of crypto etc)

And now it comes with Guerilla support!

I know you're applauding my work not the bitcoin movement :) Thanks homey, also thanks for not sharting on me just because I play with (as my accountant called them the other day) 'reality coins' lol.

(finally took a peak at some of the threads, great debates)

Bitcoin as a speculation is fine. If you can make money at it, good for you.

Bitcoin as the savior of mankind? LOL.

Thanks for posting. I've invested quite a bit into bitcoin and have also wanted to get into trading "real" currencies so this seems like a nice way to bridge the gap and learn more while still staying in a market I'm familiar with (bitcoin). Since bitcoin is outrageously volatile in the short-term I'm curious to see what systems actually work well with it.

Why do I get a "No mapping for the Unicode character exists in the target multi-byte code page" error after I enter the GOX API key?

Transistor :: Shit - no clue - passing it off to my programmer it's the first time I'm seeing that one thanks for noting it (might need to know your setup, what OS - SP2?/XP?).

Thank you for the rest of the feedback, so far so good everywhere, downloads increasing, traffic increasing, happy people are liking/sharing it. It DOES make me feel like I should be selling it more and more, and just might in time but first thing is first - get first round of feedback and plug any holes from the freebie.
