So guys, my English is obviously far from perfection. But I've learnt something in school, uni and stuff. Now, what I see more and more is that some even very seemingly educated guys use then instead of than. Is this just mistypes, or their mistakes, or it's already an allowance in the modern English?

Not that I want to be a grammar nazi, just curious.

Your the OP so I'll answer you're question. If their educated than I guess it is OK. Rather be educated then be uneducated and uncouth.
About WickedFire members - they're tolerance limit is low, so their going to post like they did on this thread.

They are mistakes, and not part of standard English. But the "like dis if u cry evritime" web propagates it.

lose/loose, your/you're, their/there/they're, sometimes people don't know, sometimes people don't care, sometimes people have brain farts, sometimes peasants haven't hired proofreaders for their wickedfire posts, sometimes people post run-ons

If you contort that enough you can maybe make "it is" work, but that really should be "is it". Note for others that can't read and are about to jump in: the apostrophe is not the problem.

The "the" is also unnecessary and makes it sound awkward.

Than
Grindstone's cock is bigger than matt cutts' cock

Then
Jeffrey finished a bottle of whiskey and, then went to the church

And yet you let the opening sentence slide, lol

These are never a problem for me, and they annoy me when I see them used incorrectly, but why IN THE FUCK do I type form every time I mean to type from?

This^^

As someone who's first language is not English - if I managed to learn to use these terms properly, someone who was born in an English speaking country should have no excuse. It's not fucking rocket science people, come on. Basic English class.

Indeed, I figured I'd go for the less obvious ones. The first few sentences were really more about the pacing (ie. rhythm and pausing). This tends to be common when people type as they would speak (conversationally) rather than as they should write.
