That didn't go as planned. I thought that his babysitters boyfriend (can't think of his name) was going to have a major story line attached to it. Didn't expect him to get his head blown off. Good episode though.

Did you guys watch Homeland afterwards? It's hard saying which show is more captivating.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I bet that someone finds the blood in Dexter's boat and Deborah somehow finds out and thinks that Dexter killed him.

It was erotic man. Dexter was conflicted between wanting to fuck someone who's like-minded and wanting to kill a suspected serial killer.

That friggin Yvonne Strahovski is so damned hot I don't blame him.

It was the easy way out. The writers have lost the edginess that makes Dexter compelling. If Dexter went through with killing her in the middle of the Santa shit, it would've been brutal as fuck - instead he pussied out.

Of course, killing off the love story won't make suits or mainstream TV audience happy, so they took the mediocre route, and Dexter - which is one of my favorite shows ever - is turning into a mediocre show.

I figured she will end up killing him, but they showed something like that in the preview for next week, so they probably won't go there. For the last few seasons, about half the shows were shit, everything that happens is too convenient.

In the end, I bet Deb will kill him to keep him from getting locked up. She might even pin it on one of the other killers, "Check it out Cap'n, we got the Bay Harbor Butcher"
