Was a roommate and coworker with the owner of the affiliate network for 10 months. Brought up issues where I was should have been on salary during my stay and how he took my car away from me and kicked me out when I was on vacation for Father's day and my birthday. Things were blown out of proportion and his coworker, Seven, came outside and assumed I was trying to fight the dude and I was telling him, "Nah dude, everything is cool, I don't want to fight" blah, blah and 10 seconds later I get socked in the face and down into a hill.
Well shit you don't have to work anyone. Assault + Unlawful termination + Lawsuit = You'll own his company. Seriously, get a damn good lawyer, don't pussy out and end a battle that just started.
Trying to press charges but believe the guy who hit me doesn't live here and I believe is planning on flying out today or soon. If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to adhere.

Doesn't matter where he's at right now. Police report now, file it, get a lawyer to request the warrant and set up court appearance. Why are you not doing this stuff already? More to the story...
Call the fucking police. Like 5 minutes after this happened. Then a lawyer. Preferably a good one, but any dipshit be good enough to get this asshole locked up while you plan your strategy.

Plenty of lawyers who will take you case on, based on a settlement % at the end of the court case through a binded contract. Go get one now, don't cheap out either if there's nothing more to the story... Also tell the hospital to bill you later, payments.
ps. This is an open forum, do not post the story or any more details, it will only come back to bite you when their lawyer tries to spin it.
