Actually, there would be brown people at Albany Plantation. Someone has to serve the food/drinks.
And I'm not being sarcastic. My Grandparents on my mom's side were "old fashioned" horse people, and for their 50th wedding anniversary at the The Potomac Hunt Club I remember my grandpa calling the caterer 3 different times to make sure the servers were black. And he didn't use the term "black".
And miraculously there was a fleet of black people in Potomac maryland.

However, Mr. Albany explains that since the plantations founding, it has maintained a strict set of rules. Blacks must only use the staircase in the back and must not be present throughout the plantation except in the kitchen or service areas. Mr. Albany did acknowledge though that slavery doesn’t exist in the 21st century and that blacks are more than welcomed to use the back entrance and obey the strict rules. Mr. Albany has also claimed that his generosity goes even further to building a small one-bedroom country house in the back for “them” to use. Mr.Albany says that there is an always open invite for overnight stays in his country house, in exchange for 2 days work on the land. Under this contract, he states however, that the 2 day obligation is subject to change at will and breach of this contract may cause serious consequences, including death.
