Just a waste to time and money. Now tax payers have to pay for the drug testing too... Anyone with a 30 minute notice and $40 can pass a drug test.

pisses me off because this program seems to somehow justify the welfare spending in the first place. its not the govt's job to feed a bunch of dumb blacks -
yeah so maybe there are more whites on welfare than blacks but percentage-wise there are more blacks on welfare than whites. It's also important to note that 24.7% of the black race lives below poverty line while only 8.6% of the white race does

That article + this article saying that welfare recipients (at least in Florida) are actually less likely to use drugs than the general populace is a pretty decent argument against this. Sounds like a net loss in terms of tax dollars.
