What's intimidating is the fact that he talks in third person about Vibe Capital & Minti claims they license out the script for $100k annually (LOL!)

He also goes on to say that Gooruze.com uses the v2.0 of VibeCapital script whereas Minti uses v4.0 - he even goes on to add that the upgrade costs would be "significant"

However, a quick look at his about page - About Clay Cook | Clay Cook
and the first thing that hits you is that he owns Minti, VibeCapital and other sites that he mentioned.
