Doing every month or even every other would be cool. Just having people to bounce ideas off of and hold you accountable can have a huge impact on your bottom line. And you guys are just about smart enough to be dangerous. Id be up for the car pool thing especially the further south we go.

Sorry I missed it - the 15th was the day of the new bonus play at Potawatomi and I went there after work and remembered at about 7:30 that the WF meetup was that night.
You could have still come we where there until about 11pm when the place closed
I think we should just pick a date and call it good. It worked well for the last one. Maybe do the same thing every month like the 2nd Wednesday or whatever day works best overall. I kinda like the middle of the week thing but am open to what works best for the group.
You guys should have your meet-up at the State Capitol building like everyone else in Wisconsin.
I went to the post office today and it was closed (but the lobby was open). Well there were a few people there and I started pissing and moaning about how the post office workers shouldnt be able to just close up shop and head to madison for protests, how it's all bullshit etc. Then one of the customers politely informed me it's president's day.

OK, Let's get a concensus if we can- I vote for the second Wednesday of every odd month until otherwise decided. That would put our first "Official WF Midwest Invitational" on March 9th, 2011.
I will organize everything to keep it simple: We will meet at the Holiday Inn Express at 7:00PM for pick-up even if you aren't staying over, and will carpool the dudes to the venue (Mickey Finns). Wives and/or Girlfriends are included- my Wife has volunteered to host them and to join them in getting as drunk as they want to at an excellent place directly adjacent to the hotel called Cafe Pyrenees, where they will anxiously await our return.
Once we rejoin the Ladies, we will continue the bash or not as you choose. FYI: The ladies may certainly come with us to Finns, however, it must be unanimous, and they may NOT be privy to the dark secrets of teh affiliate monies discussed in the meetup. They must remain with Lynette eating and/or drinking heavily (whichever they will prefer)
Any broke motherfuckers who need a place to crash will be scraped off the floor and transported to several comfortable couches we have just down the street at my home.

I like your style galacon, it is kind far for me, but since your willing to get this going and it's only 6 times a year, i don't mind. $10 deposit i think is good, I'd even pay $10 if you guys can get like a monthly keynote or more organization, like case studies, topics snacks.

Yeah, I think you are right- We'll start a new thread on it, and push it to March 23rd for the first one, and then every THIRD Wednesday of the Odd Months.
I wanna keep it odd months to stay off of Xmas, etc. and the third Wed appears to have no other holiday conflicts and puts the meet around the 18-20th of the month.
I will need some help with speakers, case studies, etc. if that's the goal- I don't mind doing the logistical work for the venue, but I am gonna run out of time fast, and like I said, I really don't want to get into the seminar biz. Someone will have to step up and take that on as coordinator if it's universally wanted
Maybe we could start with a volunteer for this first one, and then come to an agreement and assign the duty at the end of each meeting to someone else for the next? That keeps it rotating, and gives the pivot man two months to prep
