I also helped in several political campains here locally...and we won by huge margins (70%). Of course CAIR filled suit on us but it is only a minor setback.

I hate to tell you, but if your candidates won by huge margins, odds are they didn't need your money/help to do so (no matter what kind of election/party/etc.). I still stand by the fact than any candidates that solicit/spend large amounts of money in a race that they're clearly favored in are simply wasting the money of their supportive constituents.
