First time I've seen this kind of vid ad

They probably worked with Youtube to implement it. It doesn't look like it is flash, so I'm guessing html5?

Found myself on the R side the most with checking in on the day side sometimes.

I've seen some other interactive YT videos before, sort of choose your own adventure type stories, where I guess they just loaded the appropriate videos one after the other, but this takes things to a new level and is pretty sweet.

Some sort iframed player where both videos are running simultaneously stacked on top of each other. Definitely clever.

That was sick.

I really only liked the first time though.

Pressing R as if you were giving the car gas..

And you heard those pipes..

Car itself is hideous, lol.

Wonder if YT will add input events to their api or expose some simple scripting functionality for authors.

Lot of times companies partner with another big company to show off a new feature in a big way before it's available to public.

Adding gamification (hate that word) and interactivity to videos could keep people on the page longer....show more ads... tons of educational uses too.

So honda drivers are two faced snitches?

Cool concept video, they are going to milk the shit out of that tech with the big corporate sponsors. So you guys can pretty much forget your wild ideas of implementing it into your Minecraft videos.

Very cool.

Reminds me of the Wario Land Shake It page Nintendo did with Youtube a few years back.
