So this news article ended up being the top result for 'facebook login' on google and perhaps other search engines. People unable to understand the difference between the 'facebook connect' to leave comments and the actual facebook site couldn't figure out what to do to login to the website, and mistook the news article as a new facebook interface.

Read the comments for comedy gold:

Facebook Wants to Be Your One True Login

This is such a mess I can't do a thing on my facebook .The changes you have made are ridiculous,I can't even login!!!!!I am very upset!!!

They need to be afraid cause the anon facebook user is going to sue for $1,000,000 in damages since he wasn't able to 'Like' his friend's new doppelganger photo in time...

I got here via Jake Kuramoto's post on the confusion that resulted here. A lesson to the wise, I guess, especially for those of us who commonly hang out with technical people and forget that there are tens of millions of Facebook users who don't regularly encounter blogs. Then again, there are billions of people who don't regularly encounter Facebook, so even the so-called "confused" people who tried to login here are still a step ahead of much of the world.

I TRULY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BUT I FEEL LIKE CURSING SOMEBODY OUT!!!!!!

These people at least know how to scroll down and can figure out how to post a comment, which I'm sure can't be said for everyone that ended up on that page.
