I am wondering where I can find (= source) latest DITY tool to download?

Also would like to know what your experience is or how effective DITY is to create back links to your site(s)!

Thanks!

What is DITY? Care to explain?
A quick google just uncovers "Do IT Yourself" type of programs / movies / government initiatives?

huh?

[DITY] Did I Tell You?

Description: DITY pulls results from google for common guestbooks and then comments on each one. This is a very efficient way to increase back links or to get your message out to the world and an automated tool!

Mate, do you know how irritating that is as a webmaster? I had to spend a few hours cleaning up one of my website guestbooks cause of automated shit like that.:glowingeyes_sml:

I have DITY 2.0. Get it from the Syndk8 forums. You will need to heavily modify the PHP to make it work really well, or work at all for that matter...

and no i'm not going to post the code. there are way too many spammers as it is...If you want it, get a membership at syndk8 and learn PHP.

The original is available from here: http://www.onlinehoster.com/

Latest version (that I know of) here: http://seobully.com/files/dity.zip

There's also a few commercially available spamming tools available from...

Agreed. I've put stuff in place on my sites to stop this kind of thing happening. Image varification, where the user has to type in some text shown in an image, works well. It's a real spam killer.

i have spammers that can beat the captchas (and i assume many others do as well)

as for DITY - i think it's overused and the GB's are spammed to death. the best solution is always a custom app.

You do? Maybe they're not very good images (ie, not scrambled enough) or perhaps when they were beaten, it wasn't with an automated script. I've not had a problem anyway across my sites since using them.
