Hostgator Sucks Review - Scam, Fraud, Shit, Crap, Rating



I feel your pain. I am in the exact same situation right now. Kicking myself for not moving them off sooner.
 
I thought they're better than the other cheap shared hosting providers (ipage etc)

But not today i guess
 
And I was having such a good day in sales already today...
My best affiliate website already had 2 sales today when it usually only gets one per day.

So mad!
 
I'm about to cancel them too. As soon as my server comes back online I'm moving everything and closing the account. They have been nothing but trouble since I signed up with them (the day after Thanksgiving.) Their support is awful and my server is slow as shit.
 
I second knownhost for a VPS.

I had a hostgator account since about 2006. Just used it for small stuff, parked pages, redirects, testing, etc. Anything decent or profitable always went on a dedi or VPS. Anyway, hostgator was working fine for me for most of the last 7 years or so, with the rare expected problems you get on peasant hosting. Until about a month ago when all my domain e-mails and e-mail redirects just stopped working. Opened a support ticket and about 3 days later they responded and had no idea what was going on, no fix in sight, they just basically brushed me off.

I probably should have moved everything off them the day EIG bought them. Can't even trust them to host peasant-level things and simple redirects anymore.

I've been involved in B2B operations where customer value is $xx,xxx profit - I'd be pretty fucking pissed if I lost two of those sales.

But I get it, I'm a peasant, you are awesome.
 
what is best hosting company after hostgator , what happen today is big shame my site is down for more than 3 hours.
any one of you who have the same problem ask refund from hostgator because they guarantees %99.99 (%.01 downside ) and if you calculated it 3 hours downside make it %.4 so should i have refund !
