I dont even know what to say, google is really on another planet. Not only looking at it from my own little piss ant properties but the net as a whole, this is the way the ecosystem is.

It is clear that the previous video I posted a couple months ago indicating that anything that resembles a guest post be no followed, anything with author profiles should be no followed.

Author rank is a trap card.

Publishers & Webmasters Now Fear Linking Out At All

A WebmasterWorld thread has some fears that I see are beginning to worry some publishers and webmasters - the fear of linking to external sources. With Matt Cutts and the Google spam team pretty much saying you need to nofollow everything out there, well, with the exception of real editorial links (who is to decide what is editorial), webmasters are simply scared.

Honestly, what a load of crap. Think of the millions of websites that rank where owners don't have a clue about do/no follow links.

Does my head in.

I can't wait until all webmasters e-mail each other and take down all links. Oh and businesses can go ahead and demand their SEO companies to do that for them too.

It's pretty broken to shit right now. I've got a non-locational query where the second part of the query starts with "Co" and the serp is filled with local results.

For example, Bathroom corrosion and the serp is full of Bath County results.

We're junkies and google's got the best smack in town.

So to clarify, please tell me if this is legit, I can just make a news/magazine site and blow my love all over the place amitright?

That was hard to engineer....

I am confused as to what G thinks the purpose of Cutts is. He doesn't actually tell you anything since it is phrased as personal opinions. It doesn't seem useful as FUD even because I seriously doubt the vast majority of webmasters have a clue who he is and those who rank know the real story. He just seems there to stress out some tiny sub-segment of site owners and developers.

Oh gosh I want to link this infographic whatever am I going to do...

Cutts advises marketers: "Their goal should really be to make a fantastic website that people love and tell their friends about and link to and want to experience. As a result, your website starts to become stronger and stronger in the rankings."

THAT IS NEGATIVE SEO NOW YOU FUCKER!

lulz

I am going to place a link to google on my site and crash their empire....see how silly that sounds?
