has anyone tried bates method? they say it can improve your eyesight naturally. i wonder whether anyone has successfully cured their myopia.
So in addition to not being able to control your liquor and living in subsidized housing with prostitutes, you believe in fairly tales of medical cures.
1) i don't live in subsidized housing; i live in an apartment.
2) i don't live with prostitutes; they are just standing in front of the apartment
3) i don't believe in fairy tales; that's why i am asking.
There may be something to it; but the medicine is too painful.
anyone ever hear of sungazing?
I've tried some of it. I even bought a DVD a few years ago from a guy that was legally blind and healed his eyes from doing a mixture of exercises from the Bates method + Yoga.
I personally think that it works if you do it right. Never force anything. Your eyes are not like your muscles and cannot really tolerate that much pain.
I like palming. Although I don't do it nearly as much as I should. I think everyone should do it on a daily basis. You can really feel the difference when you open your eyes after palming for a couple minutes. Everything seems crisp and clear. Like you're seeing in HD lol... when you touch your eye ball you also feel like it's more flexible and less "swollen"...
Improve Your Eyesight with the Eye Exercise Palming - YouTube
I do believe that improving oxygenated blood flow to the eyes helps them heal and prevents degeneration... so to make palming even better I add slow breathing exercises where I focus on blood flow around my eyes.
I'm a big believer that disease is caused by energy blockage (Stagnant Qi)... when energy (read bloodflow + oxygen) flows all over your body, you're essentially healing yourself. Again this is my own belief and I have no proof to back it up, but it seems to have worked for millions of people.
^not really, for 2 reasons:
1) A certain amount of light still goes through your eyelids when your eyes are closed, so even though you think it's pitch-black, your eyes are still receiving a small percentage of the ambient light. When you palm you are closing your eyes + covering them with your palms (double layer of protection), so your eyes can rest better since it's total darkness.
2) Your palms will have a "warming effect" on your eyes and that improves blood flow all around your eyes. More fresh oxygenated blood = rejuvenation.
moon gazing > sun gazing
actually both techniques have been practiced for thousands of years by yogis.
but yeah I read moon gazing is less dangerous and provides the same benefits.
