I've known about this site for a while, but another thread reminded me of it.

Check this out:

It's worth checking out, cos amongst the visual nightmare, she is a very clever marketer.


She also has a nice case study "how to create a Googlejack" here, on how she hijacked someone else's Dragons Den TV appearance to drive traffic to her site.

I remember her from Dragons Den with her big fuck off side of the road rocket advertising thing. I seem to recall watching the 'where are they now' thing and she was doing very well.
 
Do people just show up to see what kind of a nut she is? Or is it that they want to read the whole site to look for a mistake and end up brainwashed?

I guarantee that if you were to completely redesign your site and make it look like shit, it's not going to convert better all of a sudden. I think it's working for her because she injected some personality into it (doesn't look like a faceless corporation) and the fact that she focuses on driving TRAFFIC to her OFFERS that makes the difference. Who knows, maybe the majority of her business comes from referrals (or offline notoriety) making the site design a non-factor.

It's worth noting that if you plant your ass in a single niche and focus on it 100%, you can make money with even the worst of sites.

Still a great find though, lol. I'm gonna check out the episode of Dragons Den with her on it
