Interested to know how many IM's used to or currently do play Chess. I consider myself well on my way to a internet marketing/seo guru and I used to play quite a bit of Chess. I find the strategies can be quite similar.
 


I used to play quite a bit, I stopped because no one wanted to play with me anymore (and playing online just isn't the same).

You can compare chess to almost any sort of competitive activity, the principles are very universal. Care to elaborate on the similarities to SEO?

- knights and bishops - pr2-3 blog posts, social media, etc
- castles and queen - high pr homepage posts, blog rolls etc
A good pawn can eventually become a queen.

You have to know what pieces to play and when to play them.

Apply this to all aspects of SEO

If SEO is like Call of Duty I stand no chance. LMAO

Mouse + WASD for life... Not to mention I'm not going to pay to experience combat simulations. There's something just wrong about that.
