Occupy Wall Street

dumb fucks. cops blocked off the entire intersection of wall and exchange so none of those dumb fucks can get near. making my walkings a pain in the ass also.

dumb fucks

poor people craving attention. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (reddit I think) that they didn't get any cnn (or any other big media outlet) to cover them at all.

So, poor people wasted time as usual.

Looks like this thing is on its 11th day and they are planning on starting in other cities as well.

It would really look much better if there wasn't so many dirt bag hippies there with no clear message. If you watch the interviews, none of them even know what they want. I agree that the corruption in government and business needs to stop, but it seems the all they have amassed is a bunch of dirt ball hippies that protest just to protest.

Reminds me of the "Die Hippie, Die" episode of Southpark.....

Hippie: Right now we're proving we don't need corporations. We don't need money. This can become a commune where everyone just helps each other.

Hippie: Yeah, we'll have one guy who like, who like, makes bread. and one guy who like, looks out for other people's safety.

Stan: You mean like a baker and a cop?

Hippie: No no, can't you imagine a place where people live together and like, provide services for each other in exchange for their services?

Kyle: Yeah, it's called a town.

Hippie: You kids just haven't been to college yet.

What exactly are they trying to prove or get out of this. I'm confused with this protest.

Its not entirely clear, it almost seems like they expect someone to just give them a job and health insurance. Theres now protest in dozens of cities, apparently its getting pretty big.

I've been following #occupywallstreet on twitter from Canada since day 3. While the initial protest has been disorganized and appears to lack leadership/resources, its been growing and seems like a potentially longer term movement.

Curious if anyone in NYC has personally been down there or talked to anyone that knows whats happening? I get the impression (although there is quite a bit of media blackout on this still) that its now a pretty diverse group of people with a variety of concerns, many that are valid in my view.

Noticed a few celeb's (Ex. Russel Simmons, Michael Moore) and some large unions supporting it now. Should be interesting if some real (and much needed) change as a result happens with big business dictating government policy. Can it be done peacefully?

protests down here on wall street are stupid. you pass like 50 people holding up 50 different signs asking for 50 different things.

if michael moore is on the bandwagon you know it's some dumb shit.

i need to get one of those water balloon canons and take it to the roof for those stupid hippies.

i'll go take pics this week of some idiots with stupid hair colors and military jackets and whatnot.

they should change the name also to occupy area blocks away from wall street because they blocked off the street making it even more of a pain in the ass to get around...but you don't see much going on around wall street.

Nothing like getting two rich hypocrites and a union to endorse something to make it seem legit. The media "blackout" is because no one gives a shit about a bunch of burnouts with no clear message. It's not news.

Only 9 TRILLION Dollars missing from the US Federal Reserve and the Fed Inspector General can't explain why. Still no real answers to these questions and no one held responsible. For any Americans here, is that worth protesting, lol?
