New change in G algorithm

always nerve racking when they make changes. Looks like they are trying to beat FB to the punch with the like crap. Seems like they are late though.

Well this would explain why I've gotten more visitors and my ranking has increased a little. Good stuff (for me at least). :)

I'm betting sites that have actually taken the time to fix all their back-end errors and have unique and well written information will continue to succeed.

Pays to put time and quality into sites these days.

The thing is that 99% of my websites are with unique content, most of them are small niche websites, yet still G took one of 'em down. Other sites are hanging there +/- the same, just that one went down the toilet.

If you believe your site is high-quality and has been impacted by this change, we encourage you to evaluate the different aspects of your site extensively.

Translation = We dont give a fuck about your site and were not telling you the rules to rank :)

My older sites, with dozens to hundreds, of content pages are hanging in there and maybe doing better.

Newer and thinner sites are losing ground and having trouble with ranking stability.

That's just my observation from my end. I guess that may add weight to Addison Domain's opinion.

My older sites with genuine content are doing STELLAR today. Adsense income way up...

Newer and thinner sites not doing so well... Not off the side of a cliff, but noticeably worse.

Looks like we need to formally request +1 packages in S/B/T!

Am I wrong in thinking that this algo change has absolutely nothing to do with links/linking/content and purely based on the data behind how users interact (or lack of) with your site?
If this is an international roll-out for +1, (wish they'd be more clear about that) then I'd say nope. But this may be a different rollout?

+1s were not supposed to affect your actual rankings, but just give you added information about all sites in the SERPs. -This was a position juggling today, for sure. All of my hundreds of domains showed a change, and many of them had been set in stone there for a while.

I can just see some of the new "services" coming in the BST section in the coming weeks and months.

Tracking 196 keywords for a 14+ million page site. Ranks are up, now I've got 104 of 196 in #1 and the rest ranging from 2 to 17.

Liking this update :)

Edit: Oh, and <10% bounce rate.
