If you are in the SMB space, yes that is small to medium business, selling products Overstock is coming fo yo monies. I know this is old news to an extent but holy fuck! I was doing some niche research tonight and started to notice Overstock consistently in the top 5 on Google usually top 3 for a lot of terms. I then proceeded to go to their site and type in some queries based upon their categories and they are simply dominating.

I know quit fucking crying and get back to work, but my point is to more along the lines of what type of suck and swallow job are they giving Google. Yeah they are a beast of a site and well established and what not come the fuck on! A little bit of domination is to be expected, but to rank across the board for every category, 2nd, and 3rd level category is a bit excessive.

I'm having the same issue here in Australia with one of the larger 'we sell everything' e-commerce stores.

They decided to sell of of my products and popped out of no where for one of my keywords.

I threw a few more links at the keyword to over take then, but I'm going to have to create and optimise a few minisites to push them down a little.

Seriously who lets you near a keyboard. I clearly state that I expect them to rank, just that I was surprised while going through their site this evening the extent to which they are owning teh SERP's. I used the vent icon, not the I'm a dumbfuck who just now found this cool site named Overstock where everything is really cheap and they are all over the internet icon.
 
Crib Sets
Bathrobes
Watches
Luggage
Luggage Sets
Office Chairs
Pet Beds
Exercise Equipment

and the list goes on and on. All of those terms with the exception of luggage and exercise equipment they rank #1, for luggage and exercise equipment the rank #2.
 
lol @ those example queries ... I saw someone tweet about this the other day and didn't really think anything of it, but some of those they really should have no right ranking #1 for imo ... when did this all start w/ overstock? I know the whole brand's getting more weight fuss happened a while ago but I mean specifically this overstock stuff?
 
ran a few of those queries through google.com using hide my ass, and overstock wasnt in the top 20 for any of them. Somethings changed then?
