I think man is doing it-- Well, machine. Before we had all this machinery and reliance upon it, there was no such thing as global warming. Nature isn't taking it's course, we are.

Solar activity has died down, and this is one of the coldest winters in the northern hemisphere in recent history.

If global warming equals getting hotter and getting cooler ("climate change") then what would global cooling be?

You're an idiot like the rest of the sheeples... we're actually starting into a new ice age.

there's ups and downs in almost any graph, but the trend is upwards and you're an idiot for not seeing that

Oil is whats causing global warming, which us (humans) decide to use oil on cars and factories.

I think you're mistaking "Global Warming" for "Climate Change". Regardless of whether or not the planet is actually warming, there's no doubt that human factors are leading to changes in climates around the world. Whether or not this is going to be catastrophic is yet to be seen.

It's nature's cycle. You need to read a very good, and well argued book: Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Cool-Skeptical-Environmentalists-Global-Warming/dp/0307266923"]Amazon.com: Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming (9780307266927): Bjørn Lomborg: Books[/ame]

There have been many cooling and warming trends in our recorded history, as well as those that can be discerned from looking at geological layers and trees.

In fact, more people die from cold deaths each year than they do from heat deaths. So, it really wouldn't be that bad to raise the average temperature of the Earth a couple degrees (even if we were the cause of Global Warming). It's save more lives.

Anyway, it's an awesome book and points out a lot of flaws in many arguments.

Who gives a fuck, let's not go green and make it our kids problems. If man kind never leaves the earth then we'll go extinct from a meteor anyway so it's good motivation to explore the universe.
