I recall in another thread where a couple members posted pictures of their rings. Recently I found a ring that I like, and was wondering what others have thought of their ring, and on what finger do they normally wear it on?

This is the one I was planning on buying:

This is the 2nd option I was going with:

I just like the 1st one more since it seems less bling and it's style.

hmm screw that get a titanium ring, last forever and look sexy too

Contrary to popular belief, titanium is not as amazing as it's made out to be. It scratches really easily and loses its polished finish relatively quickly. I've had customers buy titanium rings from me and then complain when they get scratched. They don't seem to understand that titanium's benefits are in its strength to weight ratio, which is fantastic for jet turbine blades but pretty much completely useless when it comes to jewellery.

If we're talking about lasting forever, the closest thing is tungsten carbide. It is completely scratch proof. You can grind a tungsten ring on a rock and it will not have a single mark on it. Like everything it does have a downside and that is due to it's extreme hardness it is a brittle compound, if you drop it there's a chance it will chip or shatter.

ha ah your right actually i mixed up the two i brought both types tungsten and titanium, my titanium ring is all scratched and the tungsten one is still like brand new. The only thing is that it weighs about 10 grams and take a bit bit too get used too.

I want to get one of those puzzle 2 piece tungsten rings they are cool.

The aztec tungsten ring in your shop looks pretty cool
