best documentary??

"Threaded" - it's about stupid people on forums who post threads that are so unimaginative that they've been posted on the same forum within the last week. The technical production that steals from film noir yet ingeniously intertwines an organic youthful 'on the edge of your seat' feeling gives Threaded descriptive qualities that will go right over the head of the stupider people here, much like this post.

Is this on bluray?

Preface, I watch at least two documentaries a day and ALWAYS go to bed to the audio of a documentary. I've probably watched over 2,000 documentaries (from Channel 4 tv to Journeyman) and my absolute favorite is the BBC's "The Story of God".

If you're interested in world religion and can go without trolling someone's beliefs for at least one day check it out.

I watch about 3 documentaries a week - and these three below are the shit.

The king of kong
Second skin
Monster camp

All 3 netflix instant play compatible

Favorite? Probably the Planet Earth Series or anything BBC Horizon.

There are also cool ones on VBS.TV - they have one about the Pacific Gyre, North Korea, Tar Sands, Plants that turn you into Zombies and other Cool shit that you wont' find on any major news outlet.

I love BBC Documentaries.

My favorites are Simon Reeve's series Equator (2006), Tropic of Capricorn (2008), Explore (2009), Tropic of Cancer (2010). I also enjoy Wonders of the Solar System by Brian Cox.

I've watched 2 documentaries in the past week (based on recommendations from this forum) that were awesome. The third is an all time favorite of mine:

1. Cocaine Cowboys
2. Christian Hosoi: Rising Son
3. The Cove

Favorite? Probably the Planet Earth Series or anything BBC Horizon.

1+ for VBS.tv

some great documentaries in there. The North Korea and Liberia ones are hilarious...

Best documentary I have seen was Hawking's documentary that was recently shown on channel 4 (was first shown on Discovery).

Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Available to buy here - Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking DVD , Discovery Channel DVDs & Books , Discovery Channel Store

Explored everything from advanced aliens, to time travel via black holes and wormholes and everything about the Universe - how we got here, how it is likely to end, the point when humans will have to find a new home etc. Great stuff.:)

forgot about this!

Cosmos with Carl Sagan
