Do you have a thread in the buy/sell section with your services, or thinking about starting one, and looking for ways to get more exposure?

Are you promoting, yourself, a product, a business, content, design work, or programming work, and looking for ways to make a name for yourself?

Are you a new or established Affiliate Network, and want followers to establish credibility with your Affiliates, and also gain more affiliates at the same time?

Do you have a blog, and looking for more readers and followers?

Are you looking of ways to generate targeted mail lists?

Do you have SEO, Business Clients looking for ways to expose themselves on twitter, but no way to manage, or automate the process of getting, and maintaining relevant followers? Let Alone Managing them all?

This can be your opportunity to expose yourself, or your client to the world of Twitter. You probably thought about doing this, but lack the tools , or the time it takes to manage and increase your followers on a daily basis. Before, programmers were the only ones that had access to this functionality ..Until now. Luckily for you, there is Social Snipe.
What the heck is twit sniper?

About a year ago we had developed a little tool called Twit Sniper. That small tool got more exposure, replies and responses on the Buy/Sell section than any other twitter tool...

Here is what some people had to say out Since we got such a good response from the first tool,

“Hey I bought twitter snipe and so far I must say that I give it an A+ review. Works great and I am building up a fair amount of followers even though I never really used twitter before buying this tool. I have not really tried to tweet any offers yet as I am just trying to build up a following but I am sure a few will convert. “

“Review: I bought the script, its ridiculously easy to install. Tried it on 2 new twitter accounts for 3 days, they both have over 100 followers as of now. The script just does what it says it does, no bullshit, no problems. You add your twitter accounts, you add a list of keywords, and it runs and follows twitterers that tweeted those keywords. Twitter is very real-time, so you need to run this in different intervals to catch up on the new buzz. Just open up a new browser window and let it run while you work/jerk-off/read-wickedfire. The price is pathetic for what it can do.
Verdict: Highly recommended. “ Glowleaf

With such a great response from the first one, we have taken this from a single tool, to .. The Ultimate Twitter Marketing Platform.

Our new platform includes a Forum, with other Twitter Marketers, share experiences, and techniques, as well as where you can find the latest news and updates on our product.

Here are three of my favorate features of the new platform. This platform is updated and maintained regularly, whith additions being added weekly, and updates daily. ….

Features:

Unique Targeted Following System - Automatically follow users based on conversations, now with advanced keywords, featuring GEOTARGET

Mass Direct Message - The only true Mass direct message manager for twitter that I've seen developed. This will not only manage your messages, but will allow you to send to everysingle one of your followers. It also has tracking attatched to each message.

Follow Friends -This uses the spytable technology from the autofollow system, to follow other users followers. This can increase your follow count dramatically, especially if you

Scheduling - A major upgrade, now features schedule tweets. We are currently adding scheduling for EVERY tool. We cannot claim this finished yet, but this is in the works and will be out very shortly.

Before I give you the details, here is a response from our NEW platform...

“From what I see so far, it's the best product on the market...and I went through a bunch. Will post a full review in buy / sell when they kick it off. “

With Twitter coming out with more and more rules, we constantly update our algorithms so you stay under the radar, and are aware when you are reaching your limits. Limits are often wasted on non-targeted followers, why waste your Follow Ratio, and API requests ,not followers not relevant to what you are promoting?

How much does a service like this cost?

Something this powerful would normally go for $65 a month. Think about it, this will completely automate your following process on all of your twitter accounts.

We started our pricing for this service out at $45 a month, but we really wanted people to enjoy the power of this tool, so we downed the retail to $27.99 a month. This is the retail, if you read this long, and know me by now, you know I won't be charging you guys the retail...

We are going to let you guys try this for two weeks, for $8! Whaaaat...

After that, the next Wicked Fire discount will kick in for $16.99 a month, locked in for remainder of your membership. That is almost half the retail price.

Social Snipe combines the tools that only programmers use to have access too, a members only forum, and blog to combine to create the ultimate twitter marketing platform available today.

I have sent some review copies to some reputable WickedFire members, but willing to give out 4 more.

What is a review copy? - Free Month of Service, in return for your appreciated review.

I've been using Social Snip now for about two-ish weeks. I've got to say, I like it. The tools available are very useful, even essential for any social marketer.

Social Snipe has four main tools: the Sniper, Follow Friends, Unfollow and Mass Direct Messenger.

The Mass Direct Messenger is a tool I didn't use much, the Twitter accounts I used to test Social Sniper don't call for much direct messaging. It's a pretty neat feature for those of you that need something like it though. Basically you set up a message, then click 'send'. Everyone on your friends list will get the message, eventually. Because Twitter only allows 250 direct messages a day, Social Snipe will only send out 250 messages a day and will continue to do so every day, until everyone on your list receives the message. You can also keep track of the progress as it sends out the messages too. Pretty handy.

The Friend Follower is a function that allows you to friend the followers of another Twitter account. You enter the Twitter account name, and the number of people you want to follow, click ok, and watch your friends grow. I used this option quite a lot. The way I saw it, if they were interested in following someone doing the same thing as I was, then they should like me just fine. For the most part I was right, but I also got a lot of bots and people trying to sell me crap, but, the people I added as friends using Friend Follower, followed me back.

Twitter has a few hard limits. One of them being you can not friend more then 2000 people, unless there are more then 2000 people following you. It's really important, at least initially, that everyone of your first 2000 friends are follow you back. You want people to interact with you, you want them to click your links or visit your site. If someone you friend doesn't follow you back, they aren't clicking your links or visiting your site, and are taking up a spot for a potential conversion. Social Snipe's Unfollower is a great way to keep this in check. I would use the 'unfollow non-mutual friends' once every 3 days to purge anyone that wasn't following me back, freeing up those spots.

The Sniper is great tool and the soul of Social Snipe. But, you have to use it the right way. It took me a little while to figure out how to use it the right way, and since I have, the Sniper has become my favorite of the tools offered.

The Sniper works off a list of keywords you develop. It will search though tweets, looking for anyone that has mentioned your keywords, then friend them. Initially, I was looking to get people to my news related site, so I used 'CNN' as a keyword. The problem is, for ease of friending large numbers of people quickly, Twitter marketers will friend those huge accounts then spam-friend all of their followers. Most the people I added as friends that tweeted about 'CNN', or retweeted 'CNN' or were friends of CNN, seemed to be marketers themselves. I had very few people follow me back, and was inundated with spam both in tweets and in direct messages.

I realized the key is to use something like the long tail keyword method we use for PPC. The longer and more specific my keywords were, the more likely I would follow a person as opposed to a marketer or bot. So, rather then using 'Iraq+war' as a keyword, I would use something like 'solders+fire+fight+wounded+Iraq'. With this combination I would get people tweeting about the war in some depth, or they were retweeting something someone else said about the war and were obviously interested in the subject.

Same thing would go for getting people to a sales blog. I wouldn't look for people using they keyword 'iPhone', seeing as everyone and their bot is scouring twitter looking for folks interested in them, I would use something like 'my+new+iPhone+accessories'. Someone just got a new iphone and is asking their friends and followers where to get the newest accessories.

The only real downside to this is the more specific a keyword, the fewer people you find per term. You really need a big list of keywords if you want to reach your maximum of 1000 follows per day, and you need to maintain it by adding new keywords associated with your service. As new mobile devices become available, you need to put them in your list. 'love+my+new+nexus+one' for instance.

Once I started using the long tail keyword-ish method for finding folks on Social Snipe, I saw a big growth in the number of click throughs, and had fewer people direct messaging me about their ebooks showing me how to make money on Twitter.

Now, to be fair, Social Snipe is not perfect. It can still be buggy and has it's issues. It's not real pretty, but is very functional. The one time I did run into problem, they were on it like ugly on Waggers.

I really, really like where Social Snipe is going, there is huge potential here. Especially after Digga let me peek at a new tool they will be coming out with soon.

Considering the deal they are offering Wickedfire members, Social Snipe is absolutely worth it.

Infinite Kieth, Thanks for your honest review! We are continuing to make the application as bug free as possible, while adding features as well.
AdHustler, Thanks!

Members who have signed up , and not PMed me yet, if you do soon, I'll show you where this new feature that Kieth is referring too. We will be releasing it to the rest of the members by the end of the week.

New Feature

Hello Everybody,

Thanks to the new users that signed up, and all the members from the previous version. We released a rather big feature the other day. If your a member, or familure with the social snipe, the main feature is a tool called sniper, that finds targeted followers. This is what finds the users based on keywords your specify, and was able to do this only one account at a time, and you needed your browser open, until now! :)

You can now schedule a snipe to go off, and leave it. This will alow you to do multiple snipes at a time, on a schedule you set.

This was my vision from the begining, and our team and I were able to make it happen, and release it finally.

You can see a screenshot below, I don't want to say too much more about the feature, but we'ere very excited to bring it to you guys.

You can get to this on the sidebar, under 'Schedule Snipe',

Thnx again!

If you're serious about twitter marketing then you really need this tool. It really takes things to the next level. The big plus of this is how many options there are for everything. For example there isn't just a follow tool, there's a keyword follow tool, a friend follow tool, and a scheduled follow tool. There's so much variety and so many options.

First of all the site has a really nice interface. It won't take any time at all for you to understand how it works. Also the fact that its hosted for you makes life much easier. Literally you pay and you're in, and I quite liked this.

The service has all the benefits of the original twitter snipe tool. All the people you follow are laser targeted. I can't think of any way you could get more targeted followers. Added to this there is now a tool that allows you follow all the people who follow someone else.

There is still an unfollow tool, except now you have more control. Instead of just being able to unfollow non mutual followers, you can unfollow a set number of others as well.

There's been huge improvements to the keyword system. You can still add basic keywords. But now you can also give advanced commands regarding certain keywords. For example you can define as "containing both" "containing either" "containing ... but not ..." etc. This once again allows you to zoom even further in on your future customers.

There is also a mass messaging system, yet another way to market your stuff from the same tool.

Probably my favourite feature that has huge potential is the scheduling. You can schedule tweets and schedule snipes. This means you can manage several accounts without logging in to each one every day to keep it up to date. I think the scheduling part is still being further developed, but there's so much potential there.

If you're uncertain at all then bear in mind you can try it out for a meagre $5 fo 7 days, to get a taste.

If you're serious about twitter marketing then this tool is awesome and you're suffering without it.

social snipe

Ok I just wanted to make sure I understand everything before ordering:

If I have 1000 twitter accts and want to follow 50 people every day and unfollow 50 people every 3 days can I do this with scheduling?

Also, is there an account creator included?

Social Snipe itself seems to be working (as much as it ever did) but the forums etc are down and have been for a little while.

Anyone else any experience of similar tools to take its place?

Okay - I've been using Social Snipe for a few weeks now and will provide some specific info on each of the sections...

First of all, the Social Snipe web site is pretty slick - it looks like a high end Web 2.0 style tool (reminds me of like 103bees or something - useful but simple). I've run into very few issues with using it (technical) other than some updates taking a moment to pop up and a few minor polish things that seem to be improving even over the past few weeks.

Adding Twitter (and Facebook) accounts is really easy, you simply connect to them and they're added. Sweet. This is great for me because in all honesty, I don't give a shit about twitter, BUT my sites get a lot of traffic from my WP Tweets as I build up followers - so Social Snipe is great for me because like Ronco, I'd like to "set it and forget it"!

After adding an account (or multiple accounts) you go in and setup a list of keywords. I like this style, although it takes a little initial effort to find keywords that offer a broad enough range without being so broad that they're outside of your niche.

Once I found the right keywords for my niche, Social Snipe works awesome because I'd schedule a snipe and come back the next day to find I had 250 new followers and looking through them, they were all tweeting about the niche I was in. Awesome.

So one of the things I didn't really understand was running a twitter snipe, or scheduling a twitter snipe - so the first time I did that I did a snipe, and followed like 450 people, then over the next few days I wasn't following any more. Then I realized you can schedule a snipe in the future and it'll auto-follow others based on your keywords (by searching for those keywords in recent tweets, up to 3-5 deep per user to keep it current).

So I setup a few schedules and in a few days one of my twitter accounts was following 1900 people, with 550 followers. My other twitter account was suspended *grin* Sooo... It might be better to mix these up and just do it every few days instead of the same time every day (I know, duh. But hey, I'm new).

So once you're following 1900 people you can't follow more than 2000, so Social Snipe also allows you to mass unfollow. The good news is it will only unfollow people who aren't following you (nice touch) The bad news is either I haven't figured out how to do this right or it's an area that needs a little improvement, because I'll say unfollow 200 random non-mutual followers, and it will unfollow EVERY non-mutual follower. So far, it hasn't suspended my main account but that's unfollowing like 1400 people at a time which ...ehhh ya know.

Okay, the multi-tweet is fine (although I can't imagine why I'd send the same tweet to multiple accounts, but I'm probably not that good at Twitter marketing) - and the mass direct message is really cool. But twitter seems like it's 99% spam marketers doing the same thing, and 1% teenage girls updating about Twilight... so meh.

But now that Social Snipe has some Facebook tools available it's really showing some promise. They're a little limited right now, but the direction is good - you can add multiple accounts, add fan pages (this is great) and handle multi-status updates all directly through the control panel.

Oh there's also an auto tweet scheduler, but I haven't messed with that since most of my tweets are through my WP blogs.

Bottom line - I haven't compared this to other tools that do similar things (I assume there's others out there), but I haven't had any major issues (other than suspending my account due to my own lack of knowledge - live and learn).

Is it worth it? It just depends. For me, I think it is - IF I have a number of twitter accounts and work actively to build up the followers. Instead of having to do things manually or spend a large amount of time, it's easy to create a process with Social Snipe where you can spend 10 minutes each day to check, schedule, clean up your accounts and end up with hundreds or thousands of followers if done properly.

As the updates come through and Facebook gets more love, it could very well be a go-to tool for "hands off" management. I'd love never having to GO to twitter or facebook and still build up tons of fans, friends, tweets, and statuses.

I guess my last bit of advice is to spend a little time testing Social Snipe if you start using it with some non-important accounts to discover how best to work the system without getting suspended. I'm not sure if Social Snipe is using proxies or anything, but like all automated tools, it's possible that Twitter and Facebook may become more aware of suspicious activity if not done properly. Only time and effort will tell (just like everything else in this business!)

Thanks Tindolas for that long and honest review! :)

Members will notice I have been updating it nonstop the past few weeks, and will continue to do so. I just added location based keywords, where social snipe will auto geolookup any city, state, zip. This can be useful for those using this to build up followers for local businesses.

With all this, I am also working on some more non automation methods (but still much more involved than doing it manually) to include in the tool to help prevent suspensions and obide by TOS. The tool is not meant to be a spamming tool, but a way to organize, and manage your followers, friends.. , while gaining targeted followers, with limited requests to targeted users.

Social Snipe is the only Twitter tool I use anymore. I know it also supports Facebook...but I haven't gotten into that. It's reliable and does what its supposed to.

Thumbs up!

Kick ass tool, kick ass interface, kick ass owner. I know shit about twitter, but using this tool has already gotten me some decent traffic and a twitter account that doesn't look like a ghost town.

Which is awesome, because a lot of my visitors go and search my site name on Google, and twitter is #2 in the SERPs... now it looks legit.

Thanks Digga, I HIGHLY recommend your service.

Is this good if you want to promote local businesses? Does it create multiple accounts for me so I can create accounts for my clients or just collects followers? Also did you get rid of the one time payment I saw about a year ago?
