Alright guys, WP Quick Polls is a project I've been working on for a while now designed to make it easy to create some profitable poll-style landing pages quickly. Its simple yet powerful - beginners can use it to make landing pages that convert, and experts can use it to build anything they want; and do it faster.

The features are vast and powerful - I mean, I checked out the competition and made sure I had everything they had - offer rotation, double refresh to cloak your links, full compatibility with statistics packages, all the little nuanced features you may need if you chose to promote something like IQ tests instead of the traditional submits, content auto-generation for quality score from a variety of sources (Google News, Digg, Yahoo News, search results). The script also comes with two default themes that I've successfully ran polls with (and had a few of my aff marketing buddies test out with positive conversion rates); so, they work: but you also have the flexibility / customization of working within the theme system.

Obviously I'm available for support via e-mail, and you'll get free updates to the newest available version with every license. You can install it on as many
WordPress installations as you own.

Check out some screenshots or the live demo of some active polls.

To order (69.95 USD, minus the 20% discount), visit WordPress Quick Polls Order Form

The vendor at the order link is Plimus.com; they'll accept PayPal, credit cards, and a few other more niche payment methods. They're awesome and totally secure, but if you have any questions, please send me an email. After purchase, you'll receive an e-mail address with a download link immediately.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

E-mail: support@wpquickpolls.com

Also, I'm releasing this on WickedFire a few days anywhere else; because I love you guys (or I just want you to feel special but either way, WickedFire gets it first). Additionally, I'm offering 20% off for a limited time - use the coupon code "finest" at checkout to receive the discount. :-)

p.s., also, in accordance to the normal spirit around here: I'll offer 3 review copies to respected members of the community who have some spare time to review. Get in touch. :-)

You two who asked, you'll get the final review copies. Give me a sec to get the PMs out :-)

Perfect timing as Hydra just stopped allowing this sort of traffic, imagine others will follow suit soon.
I don't think it matters (too much.). The guys running polls historically do not run Hydra, because of some bad situations in the past (at least, the guys I know... and the consensus at PPC-Coach as far as I can tell), and the double refresh feature of my script, as well as that of most tracking software may encourage people to do bad things (at the risk of not getting paid though, I don't recommend it).

I don't expect the other networks to follow suit at this point. You could be right though. I know poll traffic is converting for some advertisers on the backend; I've spoken with them directly. :-)

It wasn't a Network decision, rather a few advertisers decision...

Also - "historically", guys do run Hydra. Including PPC-Coach members. (Yes, I have been a member for 7 months) Although the only real thing that keeps me there is the Content Network tool, and the Forum. hah.

Of course it was an advertisers decision - that the network accepted.

Anyway, for now there's a lot of networks that are accepting poll / quiz / one-page lander traffic with much success. If the others follow, you're right, it'll probably be time to move on to other things. :-)

I really don't think that's a problem at this point though; especially with Will @ PPC-Coach still actively supporting the polls month and Wotogepa being on the affiliate's side.

dam hater ..why you hating on his thread. There's plenty of uses for polls,I highly doubt everysingle cpa network is going to ban polls.

OK, to increase the review process a little bit I'm going to offer two more review copies. Please only request one if you've done a review before and have the time to do a review in the next few days.

Post here if you think you'd be a good candidate. :1bluewinky:

Joe.

I was just looking for a tool like this. I'd love to try and run some polls with PPC and PPV.

I've got my own crappy hacked up version up WP for throwing polls together that does a lot of this, but I'd love to try out a legit setup like this. If I don't have enough posts its all good. But if so, I can get a review up for you by tonight.

I received one of the review copies and have send already some feedback/questions back to refrozen.

Overall this looks like a very slick WP plugin from what I can tell so far. I did not have enough time yet to play with all the features, but will do more testing tomorrow (it's late here and I need some sleep). Install went very smooth and the documentation is solid. So, initial impression - good tool with lots of features. Probably a few items that need to be improved (or I have not found the right procedures yet (that's why I am waiting for feedback to my questions)), but nothing that I would consider a show stopper.

Most helpful review post in history. The great detail you went into with all of the features, how the plugin works, and what results we can expect will definitely influence the buying decisions of anyone who reads this post.

It should probably be stickied, IMHO.

I got one of the original review copies. This is a really powerful and easy to use plugin. I have several suggestions that would make it better, but it's already very good at what it aims to do.

My full review is below:
  1. Installation was easy, as would be expected
  2. Setting up polls is pretty straightforward, about as easy as PollFactory; there are more configuration options in PF though, such as previews.
  3. Documentation is fairly thorough, though, a bit of additional info in the "Where to go from here" section would be helpful
  4. It would be helpful to know what image size to use - does the image box scale, or should we use the 442x312px size that the demo polls use?
  5. It would be helpful to be able to duplicate polls simply and quickly for testing's sake. For example, testing different themes, or image would be made easier by being able to click a button to duplicate a previous poll, and then being able to replace the image or call to action text.
  6. Obviously as I do more polls, I'll know the themes better, but having a popup preview of the them would be helpful.
  7. I'm seeing a broken image above the image I entered for my test poll. However, when I click on the broken image, it takes me to my offer.
  8. I'd like to change the size and font of the directions text. When I edited it directly, I screwed up the formatting of the poll (which I haven't been able to fix (the easy fix will be just re-creating the poll)).
  9. Instructions on how to change the RSS feed that fills the auto-content beneath the poll would be helpful. Right now, I've got 10 of the same story from digg, beneath my poll, which probably isn't going to serve the purpose of the feed.

I'll post some more comments once I have more time to play with it, but, as I said above; this is a really powerful plugin and works just as you would hope it would.

Thanks a lot. Changing the RSS feed for the quick create feature is something I'm working on right now, but to change it when you use "Make Post" in the polls area just select from the drop down list by "autogenerate content" whichever source you'd like: make sure to specify some keywords (comma delimited if you want more than one).

I'm putting all your feature requests / suggestions / problems on the todo list for the next version. p.s., obviously #7 was designed to increase your CTR ;-). No, just kidding: you need to select the option theme that says "no image" if you're not going to specify an image: something that needs to be made more clear for sure.

I love the feedback guys, keep it coming. :-) The only way I can build exactly what you guys need is if you tell me; so I really appreciate it.

p.p.s., there's a "Copy" button in the manage polls screen. As soon as you click save, you'll be given a verbatim copy of the poll.
