About Me:
I am a 22 year old XHTML & CSS coder from North Devon, England. I started working as an SEO back in late 2005 before learning about semantics and the World Wide Web's beautifully structured future which led me to learn about XHTML coding and the correct use of CSS in modern websites.
I provide clean and well-structured XHTML and CSS code as well as providing a range of Wordpress services such as theme coding from design, theme modification and plugin integration. Click Here for More...

PSD

The worse part of learning all about the internet is the lingo and the abbreviations. What is PSD? I have a blog I would like some tweaking done to. Nothing major. Just want a graphic added and the sidebar changed and oh that horrible "just another wordpress blog" line removed.

PM me. sorry, since they updated the site I don't know how to pm you.

Laura:confused::confused::confused::confused:

PM sent, no rush..

lds - PSD is a file format, it's the format used in Photoshop. If you can use Photoshop to create something, Bam Bam can probably "slice and code" it for you, so it can become a real website. That's the service he offers here, and I hear he's pretty damn good at it.

If you want to learn about Wordpress there's a wealth of information to be found here, but you have to look.

Looking for the information I need is what has taken up too much of my time. But thanks for letting me know what psd is. Don't know anything about working with images and not really interested. I'll try the Wordpress site, but sometimes they are incomprehensible.

Yes there is a good deal of information here, unfortunately you need to spend hours looking through bullshit.

Please note the following before contacting me:

  1. IE6 support is USUALLY included, my code generally works in IE6 off the bat, but things like PNG transparency fixes and fallback options that take longer to code will be charged at the standard rate.
  2. I'm not a great fan of re-doing someone else's code, it's like a tattooist re-doing someone else's bad ink job. At the end of the day i'll do it but it won't be pretty (the code, not the frontend - that'll be spectacular).
  3. When providing a PSD, please DELETE all layers that you do not want in the final design, hiding them won't do as i tend to show/hide all layers in order to get background images etc.
  4. I will be setting up a site to handle all of your requests, is there anything specific you would like to see me add to the site? Is there anything you would have liked to have seen on other PSD to XHTML sites that I could handle for you?
I'll be free to take on more work from Wednesday 18th February, feel free to book your place now by PM'ing me.
