Hello to all my fellow webmasters and internet marketers. I am here today to help those that just can't seem to make it online or can't figure out how to blog and make money online. This will be a case study that I will regularly update here on Wicked Fire and my blog.

I am basically going to put it all online for anyone to see and follow by starting 3 websites from $0 to thousands within a 1 year time frame. 2 are my existing websites and one I am going to buy.

I am not going to make this rocket science because it isn't. There is no magic wand or SEO pill that will make these websites successful. In fact they may fail, but my gut and real life experience tells me that they will not.

So who am I and is Moe Bedard qualified to perform this case study?

  • Years online: 10, but only 5 full time
  • Occupation: Full time webmaster, blogger and CEO
  • Specialties: Marketing, Social Media and SEO
  • Websites that earn income: LoanSafe.org and LoanWorkout.org
  • Niche: Loan modifications, loans, debt and credit
  • Advertising: Google Adsense, Chitika and Private sponsors
  • Monthly website revenue: A great income. I employ myself, my son and two other people. Plus I live in 5 acres in Southern California. Have 5 kids. My wife don't work etc. So with that said, it cost a small fortune to cover all that and these website do that. It has taken 3 years to get to this point and now I know the game. Just duplicate and repeat.
CASE STUDY FACTS:

1. Goals: To take 3 websites from $0-$5,000 or more in gross revenue within one year time frames. So, $15,000 per month for all the websites by March 15, 2010

2. Niches: Mixed Martial Arts, Work From Home Jobs and Free Websites super site. These are very competitive niches.

3. Websites: TBA by the end of the week, but 1 will be www.MoeBedard.com

4. Methods to be used: Passion, content and free is the 3 methods. All websites will be ran by people passionate about what they are building online. Good content will result from that passion. Everything we do will be free and better than anyone else in our niche. We will produce great content that people will want to link to.

5. Keep it Simple Stupid: I did this in building my other websites and it worked well.

6. No focus on money: My team and I will not focus on money. Only building quality websites. The money will follow within the 6 month mark. My other websites will pay the bills as we work on these new endeavors.

Things going against me that may lead to failure:

1. Only 1 in 5,000 websites succeed.
2. Each website now makes $0
3. Competitive niches
4. I am very busy just with LoanSafe.org and LoanWorkout.org
5. I have a busy forum that drains my time
6. I am an ex-convict and high school dropout
7. I am going to join the John Chow and Shoemoeny crowd of online money makers and I may look like a kook.

Things going for me:

1. Passion
2. Work ethics. I wake at 4am and stop at 7pm. Of course I take breaks, but I love to work.
3. Past successes: I have websites that make money now and can duplicate methods.
4. Marketing: I know how to market
5. Social media: I know the ins and outs of social media
6. SEO: I know white hat SEO

OK, that is about it and this thread is not only to educate, but to keep my ass in line. I do not do nothing for kicks or just for the hell of it. This is for a reason and I know I will have to keep on my toes because I am putting this online for anyone to see or follow. If I fail, I'll look like and internet ass and if I succeed, I will look like I can back up my mouth with real results online.

I am 38 years old and this is my life. I love it. I need this challenge for myself and also to help others who may be inspired when they see me kicking ass online. I am no one special. I am just a doer. That is ALL you need to be.

Passion plus doing is the key here.

This sounds like it could be somewhat inspiring. I'm bookmarking this as MAKE MONEY, and I'll check up on it daily.

All the best, Moe.

How detailed are you expecting to be in terms of numbers, traffic, revenue, etc? Most case studies end up being really fluffy unless they include these details.

Not sure if you're concerned with outing your domains (already listed your niches, so probably not too much), but it would be interesting to at least get an idea of what choices bring about what numbers and results.

Regardless, more power to ya. Good luck man

I will be watching your thread with great interest. I have a number of blogs that to date have not made a lot of money :)

Thanks y'all. I guess the point here is to show that anyone can do this with focused attention. I am willing to be transparent with my niches and websites. I honestly do not think that John Chow or Shoemoney should be making the money they do on their blogs. They provide such little value and all hype mostly to those that hope and dream of making it online. I want to steal that traffic with real value and help for those that want to make it online.

In addition, I don't like people suffering when they don't have to. I am passionate about helping people with my blogs.

Yes, my websites will be out there for all to see, copy and fuck with. I dont care. I am going to put my head down and work my ass off at providing value in these niches. My work will turn into rankings withing 6 months time. When I started LoanSafe and LoanWorkout everyone knew about it here on the Fire and some did screw with me. In the end, I came out the winner and the nay sayers are nowhere to be found.

Details will be Google analytics, screen shots, traffic, rank checking, AdSense etc. As detailed as can be because I have seen some lame case studies or BS ones that had no meat. This will be meat, potatoes some gravy and a cold beer.

Keeping my spot so I can find it easily. I think this is goingto turn into one great thread. Looking forward to learning a lot

If you're really serious about this, then you need to start taking pictures of your food at every meal and posting them on your blog.

You sound like you have an awesome "get things done" mentality. Good luck and I'll definitely be following this thread!

Good luck and props on showing some support to beginners, I'll be sure to check back for updates.

I think what you're doing is great. There are too many vague 'i make $xxxxx a day' blogs that share nothing of value.

I did a little similar in my blog where i shared all the details of starting my ecommerce biz from scratch.
