Got Banned From Adwords For Asking A Question...

Hey Guys,

Like the title says, was asking Google Adwords an question about copyrights. So I logged in with my old Adwords account to get access.
It haven't been used for 1½ years now and I have only been running legit offer back then. Last timed I used Adwords was like 1 year ago.

Anyways, after 2 hours I got an email from them saying that my account was under review. And today I got an email saying that I was banned from Adwords. wtf?!?!

This is the worst sh*t that could happend right now, because I got a client who wants an adwords campaign done....

what kind of question about copyrights & why were you asking? Google is pretty ridiculous but there has to be more to the story here you may not be remembering.

re: clients - I got banned in 2009 and I run about 30 clients campaigns. Google had enough data points at the time to connect them and I never had an issue. So long as it's their credit card, you don't run them off your google account, and don't try to slide in your old stuff on their accounts, I don't see why you would have problems.
 
Yeah, please post the question. But Adwords is really crazy about banning. They literally don't give a shi*t when it comes to banning.
 
Noobs should probably steer clear of Adwords, they are ban happy even with excellent sites. But basically never ask the support team a question, it draws attention to your account and if there is anything that remotely violates their TOS ... BAN.
 
The question was about using one of their images for a project, that's all. It's not like I told them to f*uk off....
 
Can I use they same IP, or should I use a proxy/VPN when I register a new account?
 
Doesn't matter what you ask them. In order to setup a new account you need:

1. A new website/domain
2. New nameservers for the domain
3. A new address
4. A new credit card number
5. A new name
6. A new IP address to register from
 
Your question had nothing to do with it. It was the fact that you contacted them and you came on the radar and so they decided to review your account like everyone elses, and bham!

I was banned from adsense under my real name, address, everything... a few years ago.

I said "fuck it" and instantly opened up a new account under a business name and business bank account, etc...

4-5 years later, I went back to adsense to re-register my own self (it would not allow me to for the first few years) using the exact same email address I did when I first signed up and... poof! It worked?!

So... maybe give it 4-5 years or just sign up under a business name :P

They cannot ban you from ever working with adsense in your entire life! Maybe you need to run the adsense arm of your new company?! :P
 
there is a saying..."don't ask questions if you don't want to hear the answers" ...
