From LukeW | "Mad Libs" Style Form Increases Conversion 25-40%

After seeing the Huffduffer form in action, I was curious how it would perform against a traditional form. Would people be more inclined to complete it because of the narrative format? Or would the unfamiliar presentation format confuse people? Thanks to Ron Kurti and the team at Vast.com, I now have some early answers.
Ron and his team ran some A/B testing online that compared a traditional Web form layout with a narrative "Mad Libs" format. In Vast.com's testing, Mad Libs style forms increased conversion across the board by 25-40%.
I'm not an affiliate marketer (yet), but it seems like it has potential.

Someone make this a wp plugin. k?thxbi.

This.

Or create a site where you provide people the ability to create their own forms easily, and just slap the code on their site. Charge $10/$15 for a monthly membership. Bank.

Brb, time to call my programmer.

Hmm... I don't trust those split tests. One is a plain contact form, the other has product, pricing, and dealer info. I'd like to see a plain contact form with the product, pricing, and dealer info compared to the madlibs style form - then we can really compare the conversion rates.

^^ This. That seems like a good idea - but that split test doesn't really give much data since the form on the left already is failing hard on a number of key points for optimizing forms.

I put the word fart into the madlib and giggled like a school girl, thanks for this madlib!.

You mean a site where you can edit forms that already exist? Or just create them from scratch?
